Asa Butterfield is the new kid on the block.  Local to Hackney, he is reaching great heights in the world of cinema.

Asa made it big as the main character in the hugely successful film "Hugo".  Many say that Hugo is the first film that has truly succeeded using the 3D effect.

It was a real nice kid I met at the hotel room shoot in the centre of town.  He had turned up with his younger sibling and mum and between shoots and interviews they were running up and down the length of the hotel's hallway.  But as soon as the shoot started he was as serious as any professional actor would be.

Strange to know that this star of the screen is someone I might bump into in my local neighbourhood with his rucksack on, on his way to school.  Good luck Asa!
