Claudia Roden is one of the best food writers in this country.  Not a celebrity chef that seems to be behind most of the recipe books now a days but a true connoisseur of world cuisine who is purely known for her writing and not her TV performances.

A warm welcome from a warm and welcoming lady awaited me when I arrived at her home in Hampstead Heath.  Claudia has a new book coming out which will give the reader a full insight into Spanish cooking.  I had a fast glance at the book and it is a lovely looking book that anyone who wants to cook a bit of Spanish should have.

So what will be next for the lovely Claudia Roden?  She has written about Middle Eastern, jewish, Italian, Mediterranean, Moroccan cuisine (to mention a few).  Maybe a book on Lapland cooking?  That would be a first as far as I am aware.
