I have now finally arisen from the totally absorbing feeling of becoming a father for the first time.  On the 28th of March 2011 at 23.57, little Spike Pedro Hansen made his first appearance at Whittington Hospital, London.  

What better way to start up my blog again than to start it with the birth of our little Spike.  Here are some pictures from Spike's first month on this planet - already slowly getting used to his dad only having one blue eye and the other eye looking like a big black lens...

This picture is taken around due date.  We didn't know whether we were expecting a girl or a boy, (the bump was a clever disguise).

 Who can blame Spike for thinking he's African.  3 days of rain in 6 weeks of living.  Yep - this is Britain!!!!
