Rhys Ifans is back! - but this time he plays a character far away from the 'sloth' in Notting Hill or the druggie in Twin Town.

Anonymous is the latest film by Roland Emmerich and speculates on the issue that William Shakespeare was not the writer behind the plays that he was credited with.  Rhys plays the 'real Shakespeare', the man behind the scripts that we all know as Shakespeare's plays.

All together a bigger production and a more serious film than I have ever seen Rhys in before, so it was with good reason a self confident and charming Welsh man walked in to my shoot in London's west end.  You can't go wrong with a bit of Welsh!
